- Is IIOS a chatbot or an AI copilot?
- No. IIOS is not a chat. It maintains institutional memory at enterprise scale. AI contributes to reasoning; it never becomes the system of record.
- How is this different from a knowledge graph?
- A knowledge graph stores connected facts. An institution also needs to reason over what it knows and decide what it stands behind — so knowledge is not just stored, but weighed, reviewed, and made trustworthy.
- Does the AI make decisions on its own?
- No. AI can propose; accountable people decide what the organization accepts. Only knowledge the institution has chosen to stand behind becomes part of the Canon.
